Former President raised eyebrows this week when he allegedly fell asleep while attending his hush-money trial in New York.
Yet rather than conclude that Trump was simply fatigued, left-wing television personality Joy Behar diagnosed the former president as having a “psychopathic mentality.”
“The guilty person sleeps the sleep of the psychotic”
According to Breitbart, Behar made that claim on Tuesday’s episode of “The view,” which she co-hosts alongside Whoopie Goldberg, Sunny Hostin, Alyssa Farah Griffin, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, and Alyssa Farah Griffin.

“Well, the sleeping part is, you know, I mean, between breaking the laws, posing for mug shots, selling bibles, the man is exhausted,” Behar joked.
“But, you know, only a true sociopath can fall asleep in these circumstances. Think about it: he could go to jail, he could go to prison, and he takes a little nap,” she continued.
“That requires a psychopathic mentality, in my opinion,” Behar continued before adding, “The guilty person sleeps the sleep of the psychotic.”
Reporter describes Trump’s mouth “going slack”
Meanwhile, Griffin claimed that the report of Trump nodding off “does track” with what she saw of the former president while serving in his administration.
“I would be in briefings with him on one particular topic, then he would just completely sideline it and take it in a different direction,” she asserted.
The contention that Trump had fallen asleep was first put forward by New York Times contributor Maggie Haberman, who said he “appeared to nod off a few times” with his mouth “going slack and his head drooping onto his chest.”
CNN reported that fellow Times correspondent Susanne Craig offered a similar assessment to MSNBC, saying, “He looked like he was nodding off and at one point in a pretty true tell that he was falling asleep, his head nodded down and then he sort of jolted back up at one point.”
Lawyer says Trump may have been tired from reading
Fox News also reported that Haberman went on to accuse Trump of glaring at her in court after the article was published.
She told CNN the former president “made a pretty specific stare at me and walked out of the room,” adding that “he doesn’t like when such things are reported.”
For her party, Trump attorney Alina Habba suggested to Newsmax that any drowsiness on the former president’s part could have been caused by time spent reading.
