45th President Donald Trump has pledged to bring retired Gen. Michael Flynn back into his administration if he is re-elected in 2024, according to remarks made via phone to the “ReAwaken America” rally at the Trump Doral Miami.
Speaking directly to Flynn and the audience, Trump praised the former National Security Advisor and expressed his commitment to bringing him back into the fold.
“I will say, General Flynn, he’s some general. He’s some man. He took abuse like nobody could have handled, and he came out bigger, better, stronger than ever before,” Trump said in a clip of the event that is going viral.
“He’s a leader, and you just stay wealthy and healthy and well, and everything. I want you to have great lives and, General, you just have to stay healthy because we’re bringing you back. We’re gonna bring you back.”

Flynn previously served as Trump’s National Security Advisor in 2017 before resigning amid controversy stemming from the intelligence community. Despite legal issues, Flynn has remained a vocal supporter of Trump and a figurehead within far-right circles. Trump pardoned him in November of 2020.
As the 2024 presidential race continues to heat up, the question of who will join Trump’s potential administration remains a topic of fierce speculation and debate. For now, however, Flynn seems poised to play a prominent role in any potential future Trump administration.
