This Tuesday, podcaster Joe Rogan blasted the mainstream media for ignoring legitimate news in favor of covering January 6th related stories — well over two years after the fact.
“The media has lost its hold over the narrative. Now, the media conveniently leaves out anything that it doesn’t want to be at the front and center — in terms of things that people concentrate on and talk about,” Rogan remarked on a Tuesday episode of his ‘Joe Rogan Experience’ podcast. “Like one of the greatest examples that’s happening right now is this massive protest in France. Massive protest in France. Nine million people on the street, literally up in arms. Macron in France. Takes his f**king 80,000 dollar watch off under the table while he’s talking to people about tightening up and about how, you know, this has to be done… But the fact this f**king dork thought it was a good idea to take his watch off under the table. ”
Rogan continued, adding, “And then there is the protest in Israel — enormous protest in Israel, millions of people on the streets. And you are not hearing a f**king peep about it.”

Rogan referenced the recent pension reform protests in France and the judicial reform protests in Israel, respectively. Both of these protests have wide-reaching implications for the operations of two major powers on the world stage. And yet, they have received far less coverage than events Rogan deems to be far more newsworthy.
“You know, all it is, is like ‘January 6th. January 6th! Did you see what they did? January 6th! Trump is coming back, but January 6th looms large.’ How about the fact that the guy who’s the president right now can’t form a f**king sentence. He makes up words and stumbles through things and no one says a g*d**n thing about it.”
Rogan is precisely right. Biden’s gross and evident incompetence is always newsworthy. And yet, the media has served as his guardian and protector throughout his two years in office. We the people deserve better out of our news media.
