New leaked government documents reveal that Russia President Vladimir Putin may indeed be preparing for World War III.
The leaked documents — which appear to be signed by Putin — state that Moscow plans to attack Europe when Ukraine is defeated, Knewz.com has learned.
According to The Sun, Ukrainian officials say the country’s National Resistance Center gained access to the document via email. The papers lay out a five-point plan that is expected to be introduced after this week’s election, which is sure to see Putin re-elected.
The letter, which is believed to have been written to Putin by Vyacheslav Volodin, head of the State Duma, lays out steps that would bring Europe — and subsequently the United States — into a world war.
The five steps laid out include the nationalization of key industries, a stern increase in censorship, crushing of any opposition, a total de-Westernization of Russia and “export of chaos” across Europe.
“After the conclusion of the SMO [special military operation] in Ukraine and the fall of the Kyiv regime, Russia’s confrontation with the West will not stop, but will only intensify,” the document reads, according to The Sun.
The document also mentions the “shameful” Treaty of Brest-Litovsk, a peace treaty signed in 1918 by the Soviet Union and Central Powers that included Russia losing control of Ukraine.
A condemnation of the West’s support for Ukraine is also included in the document.
The document, dated November 30, 2023, includes what appears to be a signature from Putin along with the word “agreed” on December 12, 2023.
The alleged signature would have come days after Putin confirmed he was running for a fifth term in office.
Ready for War
Putin declared Wednesday, March 13 that he is ready for a nuclear war if the threat comes his way.
“From a military-technical point of view, we are, of course, ready,” he said in an interview with Russian state-run television.
Putin claimed that Russia has a “more modern” nuclear program than anyone in the world and that the West is trying to catch up.
However, Putin downplayed the idea that a nuclear war is on the immediate horizon.
“(In the U.S.) there are enough specialists in the field of Russian-American relations and in the field of strategic restraint,” said Putin, according to Reuters. “Therefore, I don’t think that here everything is rushing to it (nuclear confrontation), but we are ready for this.”
The leader did say that “weapons exist in order to use them. We have our own principles.”
But Putin said he has not considered using nukes in Ukraine.
“Why do we need to use weapons of mass destruction? There has never been such a need.”
Still, Putin said that it is important to be prepared and that if the U.S. tests nuclear weapons his country would do the same.
“It’s not necessary … we still need to think about it, but I don’t rule out that we can do the same,” he said.
