A body discovered in a submerged vehicle on Tuesday is reportedly a Pennsylvania man who vanished four days earlier.
WPXI reported that Brian Posch’s body was found in his work truck in the Monongahela River in Elizabeth Township. Crews were searching the area because his cell phone last pinged near the waterway.
Posch, 36, disappeared on Friday and he never showed up to work at a construction site. Brighton Township police said his license was last scanned traveling south on Route 51 in Jefferson Hills.

The Beaver County Times reported that divers did not find Posch’s truck in the river during a previous search. On Monday, a large mass of metal was detected offshore in Elizabeth Township — leading crews to find Posch’s truck underwater the following day.
According to The Beaver County Times, investigators said there is no evidence of foul play. A cause of death is pending.
