House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer (R-KY) wants President Joe Biden to correct his denial that members of his family received over $1 million from Chinese businesses in 2017.
Biden has denied that Hunter and other family members received large payments from Rob Walker, a person involved in the Chinese business dealings.

“The Committee is concerned about the national security implications of a President’s or Vice President’s immediate family receiving such lucrative financial deals form foreign nationals and foreign companies without any oversight,” Comer wrote in a letter to White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre Tuesday.
President Biden’s statement was misleading and dishonest,” Comer said, noting that the committee “received the bank documents from a financial institution pursuant to a subpoena.”
I have bad news for the White House.
This is just the beginning for @GOPoversight.@POTUS has not been telling Americans the full truth. The Biden family clearly received money from individuals connected to our foreign adversaries.

“We think there are as many as 11 more deals,” Comer said during an appearance on Fox News Sunday morning. “Now, we don’t know what those deals are with the Bidens.”
“The Republican congressman said Thursday that State Energy HK Limited, a company affiliated with Chinese Communist Party-backed energy company CEFC China Energy, had wired $3 million to Biden family associate Rob Walker on March 1, 2017,” the report added.
At least a dozen different business deals related to China are now under investigation. They include multiple Biden family members, expanding the concern beyond Hunter and his father.
Two other named family members included James Biden, the brother of the president, along with the president’s daughter-in-law Hallie Biden.
The totals under investigation may also now total up to an initial $3 million.
The growing amount, people and transactions continue to add evidence that the Biden family was involved in concerning business relationships with China.
