The situation escalated due to the mini-golf course management’s mishandling of the situation. One would assume that a company that valued its customers would refund the money lost due to malfunctioning machines. However, the managers refused to do so and taunted the teens, which only added fuel to the fire.
The machines had been swallowing money all night, and the teens demanded refunds from the staff. However, the managers ordered their workers to refuse service, effectively laughing at the mistreated teenagers and telling them to leave empty-handed.
The large group of teenagers had been dropped off at the mini-golf course without adult supervision, exacerbating the situation. With no one to monitor their behavior, the teens engaged in mob mentality, knocking items off shelves, throwing objects at employees, and even spitting at one worker.
One teenager took things a step further and ignited fireworks inside the building, causing extensive damage to the property.

A witness reported that the girl seen in a viral video had been at the facility for about two hours before management made everyone leave. She reacted violently when they refused to give her a refund.
