Former President Donald Trump’s lawyer Joe Tacopina warned Democrats that attempts to weaponize the justice system could “come full circle.”
“What is good for the goose is good for the gander,” Tacopina told Life, Liberty & Levin. “Eventually, it’s going to come full circle.”
Tacopina blasted Manhattan Democratic District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s possible indictment of Trump, calling it “ridiculous.”
Tacopina said, “In this day and age now, especially anything with Donald Trump because he’s done such a great job for people in this country, because of that, so many people on the other side of that equation, on the far Left, hate him for it and don’t want him back in office. They are using this ridiculous allegation as a weapon.”
He continued, “There’s no crime.” Tacopina also proposed that Bragg’s office is hoping “a New York jury would never acquit Donald Trump.”
Tacopina added, “That is really scary and something that a prosecutor should never do.”
