Hunter Biden’s admission that the family firm got funds from China in 2017 was refuted by President Joe Biden.
“That’s not true,” Joe Biden protested to reporters Friday when questioned about recent revelations the family’s bank accounts were enriched with funds from communist China, according to Breitbart News.
Hunter said on Thursday that, despite Joe Biden’s assertions, the family firm did take Chinese funding in 2017. Hunter stated that the Biden family business had received money from China and that he, James, Hailie, and an unidentified “Biden” had all collected a total of $1.3 million.
“Hunter received his portion of good faith seed funds which he shared with his uncle, James Biden, and Hallie Biden, with whom he was involved at the time, and sharing expenses,” Hunter’s spokesperson acknowledged.
When Breitbart News asked the White House on Friday if Joe Biden still held the opinion that Hunter did not receive money from China, as he had previously stated, they declined to answer.

Joe Biden’s denial follows James Comer’s (R-KY) revelation on Tuesday that the Biden family firm received a $3 million wire transfer and further payments from a Chinese energy company after Joe Biden resigned as vice president in 2017.
Moreover, Comer has discovered proof that Joe Biden received $179,836.66 for his family business when he served as vice president in the White House in 2015.
Although the figure seems small in comparison to the $31 million the company received when Joe Biden served as vice president, the latest sum expands on earlier research done in 2022 by Breitbart News senior contributor Peter Schweizer.
Breitbart Senior Contributor and President of the Government Accountability Institute Peter Schweizer authored Hidden Empires and Profiles in Corruption in 2018 and 2020, respectively.
Each book debuted at number one on the New York Times bestseller list and revealed how Hunter and Joe Biden traveled to China in 2013 on Air Force Two before Hunter’s company signed a $1.5 billion contract with a Bank of China affiliate less than two weeks later.
The Biden family’s other substantial and lucrative international dealings and cronyism were also revealed by Schweizer’s study.
Joe Biden was intimately involved in Hunter Biden’s businesses, appearing to even have a ten percent stake in a company the scion formed with officials at the highest levels of the Chinese Communist Party, according to Emma-Jo Morris and Miranda Devine’s investigative work for the New York Post on the “laptop from hell” of Hunter Biden.
News of the laptop made headlines around the world when it was finally made part of the mainstream news after some tech companies attempted to suppress its circulation.
