Hunter Biden filed a countersuit in a Delaware federal court on Friday against John Paul Mac Isaac, the computer repairman who leaked files from the notorious “laptop from hell” to the New York Post before the 2020 election. This legal action, claiming an “egregious” invasion of privacy, is in response to a defamation lawsuit from Isaac against Hunter Biden, CNN, Politico and Representative Adam Schiff (D-CA).
Bidens and the ‘experts’ lying about Hunter Biden’s Laptop From Hell for years should be the biggest story.

In the countersuit, Hunter Biden accuses Isaac and others of six counts of invasion of privacy. He claims that Isaac had no legal right to copy and disseminate the laptop’s contents left at his Delaware store in 2019. Hunter’s lawyers argue that Delaware law provides that tangible personal property is deemed abandoned only when the owner does not assert or declare property rights to the property for one year. They also argue that the repair authorization form only extends to the actual “equipment” and not its contents.
The legal wrangling comes as House Oversight Committee Chair Representative James Comer (R-KY) continues to probe the first son and his family’s foreign business dealings. The countersuit, which draws attention back to the “laptop from hell,” also threatens to negatively impact President Biden’s expected re-election bid significantly.
The 42-page filing details how Hunter’s private information, including nude photos and thousands of emails and texts, were made public and exclusively reported on by the New York Post in October 2020. The lawsuit accuses Mac Isaac of invading Hunter Biden’s privacy for political gain just weeks before the 2020 election.
Hunter’s legal team accuses the repair shop owner of six counts of invasion of privacy, including conspiracy to obtain and distribute the data. The laptop contains documents revealing Hunter’s history of drug abuse, sordid personal relationships, and overseas business deals that suggest President Biden likely knew of his son’s activities despite his repeated denials.
The ongoing legal battle and the media attention could harm Joe Biden’s re-election campaign by bringing the damaging information on Hunter’s laptop back into the public eye. As Biden weighs a re-election bid at age 80, the controversies surrounding his long-troubled son are an unwelcome addition to the campaign trail.
Despite the detailed arguments in the filing, Hunter’s attorney refused to confirm that the laptop belongs to Biden’s son. However, Hunter has previously admitted that his memory during the throes of his drug addiction was hazy and that he cannot be sure if the laptop is his or if he dropped it off at the repair shop.
