Fox News host Neil Cavuto warned that things could get “very nasty” if Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg has former President Donald Trump arrested on Tuesday.
Trump took to Truth Social on Saturday saying he expects to be arrested and he called on Americans to “protest” and “take our nation back.”
Leftists have already pounced on Trump’s comments as some sort of incitement to civil war. However, Trump is rightly demanding Americans protest the politicization of the Justice Department by leftists.
Cavuto said, “You’re going to have a lot of people who are both supporters of his and those who are hoping that he does go to the clink, but it could get very, very nasty.”
Hopefully, Trump’s supporters find peaceful and effective ways to protest. Trump supporters must understand that law enforcement and the justice apparatus will find any reason to throw them in prison for their political beliefs.
Violent protests will just give Democrats another January 6th story to exploit and use against Donald Trump.
