Former Celebrity Apprentice contestant, talk show host and Fox News contributor Geraldo Rivera’s opinions are like a box of chocolates. You never know what you might get.
Today Rivera has a “even broken clocks are right twice a day” moment. Many partisan RINO hacks and Democrats are hoping apparent corruption Manhattan D.A. Alvin Bragg has former and possible future President Donald Trump arrested on old charges related to former porn star Stormy Daniels.
But most sane and reasonable people (if not all) think this is a horrific idea and sets a terrible precedent that could push our nation into a scary direction of Banana Republic territory.
Even Geraldo with his “name out of a hat” randomness has the opinion of this being bad. He recently tweeted:
“Arresting former President Trump on hush payments to a porn star is a terrible idea. (Is that even a crime?) It will further cast him in the role of victim/martyr. Dumb dumb move by a bumbling otherwise soft-on-crime Democrat DA.”
Former Virginia congressional candidate Jarome Bell had this to say:
“Smartest thing you’ve said in years”
We are of the opinion that in this case both Rivera and Bell are correct. Many are waiting to see what Florida Republican Governor Rob DeSantis says or does about this as he’s been silent so far. Even House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) said he’d look into the situation to some degree.
With more possible bank failures and the Trump fiasco looming, next week could be a whirlwind of news and happenings. Stay tuned to Media Right News for updates as we are able to bring them.
