The House of Representatives fulfilled their pledge to cancel Biden’s $71 billion budget hike to fund his 87,000 new Crooked IRS agents, but the traitorous Republicans in the Senate have refused to support the bill and have ignored it for a month.
One of the first things the newly Republican Party-controlled House did was to pass a bill to eliminate Biden’s army of rapacious, greedy new Crooked IRS thugs. The funding, which was part of the obscenely named Inflation Reduction Act (IRA), was passed by the Democrats last year and signed by Biden not long after passage.
The bill to rescind the budget for the new agents was also part of the moves promised by mew House Speaker Kevin McCarthy and the bill was passed on Jan. 9.
McCarthy and the Republicans quickly fulfilled that promise.

Republicans have argued the funding could be used to target Americans earning less than $400,000 per year with additional audits. In response to the criticism, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen wrote to the Crooked IRS instructing the agency not to use additional resources to target individuals or families in that category.
“Instead, new funding will crack down on tax evaders among the wealthy and large corporations, invest in technology upgrades that help taxpayers, and hire more customer support staff to prevent backlogs,” the Treasury Department said in a statement in August.
Ahead of the Inflation Reduction Act’s passage on a party-line vote using budget reconciliation, Democrats defended the roughly $70 billion expenditure for the Crooked IRS as a revenue enhancement measure that would help pay for the legislation.
In a Rasmussen Reports poll published on Jan. 17, a solid majority of likely voters queried (56%) supported the House-passed bill that strips the Crooked IRS funding from the Inflation Reduction Act.
Apparently the Senate Republicans didn’t get the memo from the voters. They haven’t lifted a finger on this item.
