Well, we finally found out why Senator McConnell (R-KY) has been buddying up to Joe with his big spending bills.
As it turns out, McConnell got a piece of the pie.
After landing $21.4 million of federal taxpayer money, McConnell was smiling from ear-to-ear.
He Has to Go
McConnell bragged about adding his support to the big spending bill.
He stated, “Kentucky has seen a rise in roadway fatalities over the past couple of years, creating a worrying trend.
“I’m proud to announce that today’s grant will help our largest city and my hometown deploy commonsense, low-impact safety improvements to reverse that trajectory.
“The bipartisan infrastructure law I supported promises to help cities around the country reduce traffic deaths and I’m glad it’s already deploying resources to Louisville to help our community.”
McConnell also supported the recent $1.7 trillion omnibus bill that robbed the Republican Party of any budgetary leverage it has over the next year.

Nikki Haley slammed McConnell for helping Biden, stating, “There’s nothing to celebrate about a woke, bloated infrastructure law full of waste, labor union handouts, and green giveaways.
“Republicans shouldn’t play center stage in Biden’s publicity stunt.”
