‘Are you kidding me?’ Black Lives Matter (Racist Hate Group) piles on backlash against Miami police’s new Africa-themed cruiser

The Miami Police Department is receiving a mountain of backlash after it unveiled on Thursday a wrapped police cruiser designed by the city police union in commemoration of Black History Month.

The four-wheeled monstrosity left Twitter slack-jawed in disbelief, with the former president of the NAACP Legal Defense Fund writing, “THIS CANNOT BE.”

Oh, but it can be, as Miami Mayor Francis Suarez proved when he pulled the cover off the car, revealing Reggae colors, Black Power symbols, African flags, and the declaration that “Miami Police Supports Black History Month” emblazoned across the back.

“Today we honor and celebrate Miami Police Black History with unveiling of our new Black History vehicle,” Miami PD proudly tweeted. “Among all of the officers who were in attendance to commemorate the unveiling were some of our very first black police officers.”

At the press conference, Mayor Suarez praised the “collaboration” that brought this beast into existence.

“This is a beautiful collaboration to commemorate Black history and Black History Month and the history of African Americans and our police department and our city,” he said, according to the Daily Mail. “This is Black history.”

Black Lives Matter was not amused.

And BLM wasn’t alone.

“This is an absurd waste of taxpayers’ money and [a] disgusting display of pandering,” wrote one Twitter user.

“This is such a horrible look,” tweeted another. “I can’t even imagine how this got approved.”

“Whoever thought this was a good idea should be fired,” stated a third.

This isn’t the first design fail the Miami Police Department has faced.

In June 2021, the department wrapped a squad car to celebrate Pride Month and got much the same reaction.

As outrage over the cruiser mounted, the black police union let Mayor Suarez off the hook.

“I just spoke to Black police union (@mcpba1946) president Stanley Jean-Poix,” tweeted reporter Joshua Ceballos. “He said Mayor Suarez’s office had nothing to do with the design of the car, and the design had the full approval of the union before it was unveiled.”

“‘It celebrates our African ancestry’ he said,” Ceballos added.

Still, Twitter users have questions.

“At no point no one thought this might not be a bad idea?” asked one user. “Especially in the last couple of weeks?”

“This is really stupid,” stated another. “I wonder how many police they could have if they spent the money on recruitment instead of…whatever that’s supposed to be.”

“Also where are the brown, white, red, and yellow lives matter cars?” the user wanted to know. “Divisive virtue signaling crap is all this is.”

“Are you kidding me?” exclaimed a third. “What part of slave patrol = police did y’all miss?”

“This is insane,” the user fumed. “You branded the vehicle that carries the very institution responsible for taking Black Lives with #BHM artwork. Wth we’re y’all thinking!?!?”
