WATCH: DML interviews an honest, fiery reporter who asks tough questions

On Thursday, the Dennis Michael Lynch Podcast featured an exclusive interview with special guest Chris Nelson, an independent reporter based in Florida.

While many fear that real journalism may be dead, DML commended Nelson for standing out from the crowd and being willing to ask the tough questions.

Nelson, who previously supported former President Donald Trump and is now hoping Florida Governor Ron DeSantis will run in 2024, had both praise and criticism for Trump and DeSantis and vowed to hold them equally accountable.

DML played footage Nelson has shared of himself grilling local political figures.

“You continue to follow up, and you’re like that little pit bull that won’t let go of the pant leg,” DML told him.

“If people were to have more answers to tougher questions like the ones you’re asking, then maybe they wouldn’t be so quick to just pull the lever based on a “D” or an “R” that’s sitting in front of a name,” DML said, noting that the kind of footage Nelson is getting can literally change elections, because he’s showcasing the truth.

“It’s not my job to be liked by these people,” Nelson said, noting that a lot of reporters seem to be more concerned that public officials will like them.

“My job, my duty, is to my viewers, my readers and my listeners,” Nelson said.

She also told the Broward Delegation that she knows Pastors with “camps” where they can read “banned books” to children. She doubles down on forced masking of children and even sounds like she is saying children are property at one point. This was the highlight of my morning.
