Candace Owens has been one of the biggest Trump supporters since Trump walked down that escalator.
That no longer appears to be the case.
Owens now appears to be in the group of conservatives that no longer want Trump to run for president in 2024.
Time to Break
Owens recently offered insight into why she believes Trump thinks and does the things he does revolving around his reaction to news cycles.
She stated, “I believe also, he only reads the mainstream media news. I do not believe that Trump reads or partakes in any other news sources.
“I don’t believe that Trump is on the internet, or you know that he necessarily uses like you know the web to try to find obscure websites. I think that he just relies on typical mainstream sources.”
Now, did you see anywhere in there that she called Trump too old?
Well, this was the Daily Beast headline covering the interview: “Candace Owens: Trump is Pro-Vax Because He’s ‘Too Old’ to Understand the Internet.”
Trump read that article and was not happy, telling those close to him that he was “so mad” at Owens.
After she heard that, Owens stated, “And this got back to me that he was angry, that he was upset with me.
“And the next time I saw him, he was quite rude to me. He was actually rude to me.”
On 2024, Owens added, “My favorite potential candidate for 2024 is Political Rockstar Kari Lake. Her and Representative Thomas Massie would be my dream team.
“A lot of reasons for that. Will explain when it becomes more relevant.”
I am just curious who she thinks would vote for that ticket in a general election.
Her full interview is in the video below…
This is a big issue for Trump if he loses Turning Point’s support for his candidacy.
If that network moves away from him, Trump may even find it challenging to get out of the primary, let alone the general election.
