AlbanianRetired Army Col. Douglas MacGregor estimates that Russia will soon “crush Ukraine out of existence” as the NATO puppet country is “on the verge of collapse.”
“The Russians are winning. Ukraine is crumbling. Ukraine’s on the verge of collapse. We’re gonna watch that happen over the next several weeks,” MacGregor said on the “Judging Freedom” podcast Tuesday.
“The Russians will crush out of existence what remains of the Ukrainian armed forces.”

MacGregor told host Andrew Napolitano that once Ukraine is defeated, Russia will likely go after Ukrainian President Zelensky and his cronies assuming “they don’t rapidly flee the country to Poland or somewhere else.”
“Having said that, the Russians are being very methodical, very deliberate. They’re moving constantly but they’re not moving on multiple axis simultaneously,” he explained. “In other words, you’re not going to see the blitzkrieg. What you’re going to see on several axis are what I call large meat grinders that are just systemically plowing forward, annihilating everything that they come in touch with that is Ukrainian until Ukrainians are finished.”
MacGregor pointed out that although Russia doesn’t want to take such a brutal approach to Ukraine, it has little other choice due to the West’s refusal to negotiate.
“There is no incentive for them at this point to negotiate with us unless we go in without conditions,” he said. “Would the Russians prefer not to annihilate everything in Ukraine? Yes. They never went in there with that goal to begin with. But you can’t walk in there and say, ‘well, the only way we’ll talk to you is if you withdraw all your forces from Ukraine and Crimea.’ That’s absurd.”
MacGregor also claimed that the Biden regime and the Pentagon are suddenly giving Ukraine tanks and other more heavy artillery in its fight against Russia because they’re backed into a corner.
“Everyone in Washington in a position of authority now knows that Ukraine is losing. Ukrainian resistance is crumbling. The state itself is in danger of going out of existence, that’s how bad it is,” he said.
“So the theory is, if we can give them anything within the next 30-90 days, perhaps we can rescue them from disaster. I don’t see much evidence for that, but I think that’s the theory.”
“No one is telling us the truth in the West about the horrific losses that Ukraine has taken,” he added, noting its troop losses amount to roughly “157,000 dead on the battlefield.”
His remarks come amid reports Russia is planning a large-scale winter offensive that will be bigger than its initial invasion into Ukraine last February.
