“I want to apologize to everyone. I messed up. What I did was really bad. I’m so sorry I didn’t get more of them. It’s my own fault. No one else is to blame. I should have come better prepared,” he said.
He also claimed to have a website with “a lot more to say” but said authorities had taken the website down, according to the report.

The report of the call comes just days after the bodycam video was released on Friday that showed DePape striking Pelosi with a hammer to the head.
DePape is currently held in jail and is awaiting trial on multiple counts over the break-in and attack on the former House speaker’s husband.
“Lawyers for DePape had argued against releasing the footage and audio, saying it would ‘irreparably damage’ his right to a fair trial. The suspect has pleaded not guilty to state and federal charges,” the Epoch Times reported.
“This week’s ruling came in response to a request by a coalition of media outlets who sought to gain access to the footage and other records. The outlets, including The Associated Press, filed a court motion in San Francisco earlier in January to get access to the evidence,” it added.
The latest call to the television station reveals further concerns about the mental health of the man accused in the attack.
It is uncertain whether the evidence will be used in court as DePape faces his upcoming charges.
