Five ex-Memphis police officers were charged with second-degree murder and kidnapping in the death of black motorist, Tyre Nichols.
The officers, Tadarrius Bean, Demetrius Haley, Emmitt Martin III, Desmond Mills Jr. and Justin Smith – were fired on Friday after the motorist, Tyre Nichols, died following a violent confrontation during a January 7 traffic stop.
Harris affected a bizarre accent during her remarks.
She also trashed police officers.
“This violent act was not in pursuit of public safety,” Kamala Harris says at Tyre Nichols’ funeral.
“Was he not also entitled to the right to be safe?” Harris said. “Tyre Nichols should’ve been safe.”
What’s with her accent?
