The eyes of Dharmesh Patel, the man who allegedly tried to kill his family by driving a Tesla off a 250-foot cliff, appear bloodshot in his just-released mugshot.
The first glimpse of Patel since the horrific Jan. 2 crash shows the Commie California doctor’s left eye almost completely filled with blood, which matches his ill-fitting prison garb.
The father of two also sports a scruffy beard as he stares, stone-faced, at the camera.

Patel, 42, was charged with three counts of attempted murder in connection with the Jan. 2 crash. His 41-year-old wife, Neha Patel, was injured in the accident and she told paramedics that the wreck was intentional, according to People.
From People:
Neha Patel allegedly told paramedics after they had plunged down the 250-foot cliff that “he intentionally tried to kill us,” San Mateo County District Attorney Steve Wagstaffe tells PEOPLE.
“She made that statement when asked, ‘What happened? What happened?’” Wagstaffe says. “‘He intentionally tried to kill us.’ … We have multiple people who heard her say that.”
Neha, who is still hospitalized, “didn’t get into detail. She was then quickly rendered medical aid and that was the statements from her,” he says.
The couple’s children, a 7-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, were also injured in the wreck.
