Following a scheduled appearance of Kyle Rittenhouse at a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) chapter event at the University of Memphis on Wednesday evening that resulted in Black Lives Matter swarming the event, TPUSA founder Charlie Kirk said on Thursday he would be asking Tennessee lawmakers to investigate whether “the University of Memphis colluded with local protesters to sabotage” the event.
“I will be asking TN lawmakers to investigate if the University of Memphis colluded with local protesters to sabotage last night’s TPUSA event with Kyle Rittenhouse. We may also file our own lawsuit on viewpoint discrimination. Stay tuned,” Kirk wrote.
BLM protestors chanted derogatory remarks about Rittenhouse , including “Kyle is a killer,” and later taped the names of the men involved in Rittenhouse’s self-defense case on the seats inside the venue.
