The Florida GOP executive director had been missing since recently, but he’s been found now.
As George Riley Jr.’s family, friends, and law enforcement searched for him last week, the missing executive director of the Republican Party of Florida was relaxing at a Lake Buena Vista spa.
Riley Jr. was found to be in “good health” but under the influence of alcohol, according to a report by USA Today.
Earlier in the week, Riley Jr. had been kicked out of the Kissimmee Hampton Inn after a rough four-day stay for what management defined as “excessive drinking” and damage to the room.
Riley Jr. apparently understood when being told to leave, because he didn’t even object when he was charged extra because the room needed a deep cleaning.
Just the day before that, Riley Jr.’s family had filed a missing person report with law enforcement.
Riley Jr. needed to be found quickly because he has a “condition,” but the exact details regarding that were redacted in the report.
Prayers that Riley Jr. and his family get these issues straightened out.
