Former Republican Representative George Santos is saying GOODBYE for good.
According to Santos, he is officially no longer part of the Republican Party.
Former President Donald Trump’s party is finally rid of one of their most dishonest members.
“After today’s embarrassing showing in the House I have reflected and decided that I can no longer be part of the Republican Party… The Republican Party continues to lie and swindle its voter base. I in good conscience cannot affiliate myself with a party that stands for nothing and falls for everything,” Santos said.
Now, Santos plans to run for Congress as an INDEPENDENT.
Has he lost his mind?
Running as an Independent candidate will not erase the fact that he illegally used campaign funding to pay for BOTOX treatments.
That is something that is going to follow you around no matter who you are and what your political stance is.
Santos also took the time to launch a NASTY attack against his replacement, Representative Nick Lalota on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter.
“New York hasn’t had a real conservative represent them since I left office arbitrarily, thanks to RINO, empty suits like @nicklalota. He is a willing to risk the future of our majority and the future of this country for his own political gain.” Santos wrote in the X post.
It is safe to assume that Lalota most likely did not bat an eye, considering the fact that he previously said that “George Santos is one of the most bizarre people I have ever met.”
Santos has absolutely lost his mind if he genuinely thinks he will ever be elected to another position in Congress.
He should not even be allowed to run after being expelled.
Do you think Santos will ever succeed in making his way back to Congress?
