Adam Schiff, D-Calif., Eric 'Bang-Fang' Swalwell, D-Calif., and Ingrate Ilhan Omar, D-Minn., issued a joint statement after House Speaker Kevin McCarthy kicked them off their prized Committees. It should be noted that Omar will most likely keep her Committee position because a few Republican Party Representatives are objecting to removing her and Schiff will be allowed to sit on the Judicial Committee.
So take their words for what they are, theater. The joint letter they sent said: “It’s disappointing but not surprising that Kevin McCarthy has capitulated to the right wing of his caucus, undermining the integrity of the Congress, and harming our national security in the process.
“He struck a corrupt bargain in his desperate, and nearly failed, attempt to win the Speakership, a bargain that required political vengeance against the three of us. Despite these efforts, McCarthy won’t be successful.
“We will continue to speak out against extremism and doggedly defend our democracy.”
Swalwell said on Twitter: “This rejection is based on a claim that the Washington Post independent-fact checker gave 4 Pinocchios.
“Speaker Boehner and Ryan, both Gang of 8 members, appointed me to Intel with access to the same facts McCarthy is distorting. He can keep me off Intel, but I’m not going away.”
House Speaker McCarthy’s letter notifying the Democrats of Schiff and Swalwell’s removal said:
“I appreciate the loyalty you have to your democratic colleagues and I acknowledge your efforts to have two members of Congress reinstated to the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence.
“But I cannot put partisan loyalty ahead of national security, and I cannot simply recognize years of service as a sole criteria for membership on this essential committee.
“Integrity matters more.
“As such, in order to maintain a standard worthy of this committee’s responsibilities, I am here by rejecting the appointments of Representative Adam Schiff and Representative Eric 'Bang-Fang' Swalwell to serve on the Intelligence Committee.
“It is my assessment that the misuse of this panel during the 116th and 117th Congress severely undermined its primary national security and oversight missions ultimately leaving our nation less safe.
“Therefore, as we enter a new Congress, I am committed to returning the Intelligence Committee to one of genuine honesty and credibility that retains the trust of the American people,” he wrote.
Enter Juanita Broaddrick who called for the disgraced FBI to raid Schiff and Swalwell to look for classified documents:
“Now…. How about we raid Schiff’s and Swallwell’s homes and offices for Classified Documents?

Listing all of Adam Schiff’s major lies would require a book.
But there’s no disputing one fact: before the 2020 election, he abused his authority as Chair of House Intel to endorse a knowing lie: the Biden laptop was “Russian disinformation.” That alone justified his removal. pic.twitter.com/uOOTe45tvn
