AlbanianGovernor Ron DeSantis of Florida has made a bold stand against Critical Racist Theory (CRT) and is being met with strong criticism from the left. On the Friday night show, Fake News CNN Tonight, Scott Jennings and former Ohio State Senator Nina Turner had a heated debate about the issue. Jennings was able to calmly and understandably explain why DeSantis’ decision is the right one and why it should be supported.
The governor of Florida is taking a stand against this dangerous and divisive ideology. CRT teaches that racism is built into the very structure of our society and that members of certain races should be viewed differently than others. This is a complete and utter violation of the American ideal of equality before the law.
Jennings showed that he had done his research on the matter and was able to effectively explain why DeSantis’ decision is the right one. He pointed out that Florida was giving students a good education on African-American history and that the More in Common study showed that Republicans were not hostile to a balanced teaching of American history.
Turner had nothing to say in response. Instead, she tried to twist Jennings’ words, accusing him of wanting to take away people’s speech. Jennings had to point out that African-American history was not only being taught, but had been expanded since DeSantis took office.
It is completely ridiculous that we are having to fight for a fair and balanced education for our children. We should not be indoctrinating our kids with a divisive ideology. It is an absolute disgrace that this is even being debated.
Governor DeSantis should be applauded for taking a stand against CRT and protecting our children from this divisive and racist ideology. We should all be thankful that he is standing up for what is right and protecting our kids from this dangerous and misguided teaching.
It is time for more states to follow Florida’s lead and take a stand against Critical Racist Theory. We need to demand a fair and balanced education for our children and make sure that they are receiving a quality education that prepares them to be responsible citizens. It is time to stand up against this dangerous and divisive ideology and protect our children from it.
