Fox News’ Pete Doocy decided to change things up during this press briefing.
Instead of going for the kill right out of the gate, Doocy led it off with a joke.
Then, while he had KJP laughing, he landed an uppercut that had her spinning like a DJ again.
Slam Dunk
The Doocy-KJP battles are the new Donald Trump-Jim Acosta battles, only they are much more dignified.
Doocy has never treated KJP with disrespect and has even been a bit humorous at times.
That was the case when Doocy managed to KJP off her spot by asking her what four-letter word she thought of when more classified documents were found at Biden’s.
He quickly went into attack mode, however, following up by asking her if there was a “precedent for people running for president after the FBI searched their sock drawer?”
Her answer had nothing to do with that question, as she responded, “Here’s what the president’s going to focus on.
“He’s going to focus on continuing to deliver for the American people.
“That’s his focus. That’s what he focuses on every day.”
So, at this point the likely candidates for president in 2024 are a 76-year-old former president who the Democrats tried to impeach twice and who is being investigated for obstruction of justice and accused of stealing classified documents and an 80-year-old man who has been linked to corruption and who is now under investigation for taking classified information.
Seriously… is that the best we can really do?
