The Russians have committed yet another war crime that they will apparently never have to answer for.
A Russian missile struck an apartment building in Dnipro, Ukraine.
So far, at least 23 people have been reported as killed in the attack.
When Do We Stop Them?
Like you, I am sick of seeing American money poured into Ukraine.
What I am even sicker of seeing is the Russians blatantly attack civilian targets with no repercussions.
This last attack was horrific, hitting an apartment building in the east-central city of Dnipro.
The building houses about 1,700 people, so this 23 number could rise significantly.
Thus far, 39 people have been rescued, 35 have been reported as missing, and 73 were reportedly injured.
The Russians were very active on Saturday, firing 33 cruise missiles, 21 of which were shot down by missile defense systems, so this clearly could have been much worse.
Ivan Garnuk, a resident in the building, stated, “There are no military facilities here. There is nothing here. There is no air defense, there are no military bases here. It just hit civilians, innocent people.
”People’s screams could be heard coming from under huge piles of debris, as emergency workers paused for several moments to pinpoint the location of the pleas in the silence.”
Oleh Kushniruk, a deputy director of the regional branch of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, added, “Two rooms on the second floor remain practically intact but buried.”
The Russian Defense Ministry did not even hide the fact it was going after civilian targets.
It stated, “All designated targets have been hit. The goal of the attack has been achieved.”
The Ministry added that all of its missiles had been fired “on the military command and control system of Ukraine and related energy facilities,” but that is obviously a lie.
I cannot help but wonder when the Discredited United Nations or other European countries will step up and say that enough is enough. Or will they continue to allow Russia to carry out these war crimes without any repercussions at all?
