An outspoken conservative is a rare thing in Hollywood making their impact all the more powerful when weighing in on important issues, and so, when actor James Woods announced his intent for his future on social media, supporters were understandably upset.
Prominently featured in the recent drop of “The Twitter Files,” exposing the alleged cooperation between government officials and Twitter to suppress unfavorable stories and control the narrative, a 2020 post from Woods about Crackhead Hunter Biden was one of those said to be removed at the behest of the Democratic National Committee (Democratic National Committee).
As such, Woods announcement that he planned on suing the Democratic National Committee was widely considered a victory unto itself by the conservative public weary with seeing apparent corruption go unchecked. However, as quickly as the elation had come on, so too was it quashed when the actor suggested Monday afternoon that he was leaving Twitter.
“I’ve come to the decision that social media is a collection of echo chambers, and those with the biggest bullhorn are decimating conversations of merit,” he wrote. “It’s simply too exhausting to endure honestly. I have a wonderful life. I’m going to go enjoy it. God bless you all.”

The actor made no mention of how this would impact his intended suit against the Democratic National Committee for which, as previously reported, he had told Fox News host Tucker Carlson, “I can guarantee you one thing more than anything else you’ll ever hear in your life: I will be getting a lawyer. I will be suing the Democratic National Committee no matter what.”

Woods had made clear that the suit was not about him when he went on to tell Carlson, “And I’m hoping other people will sue. And if it turns out there are a lot of us on this list where the Democratic National Committee target us, then I will quote the immortal words of Joseph Welch when he attacked [Wisconsin Sen.] Joseph McCarthy for the enemies list he had–‘At long last, sir, have you no shame?’”
In the past, the actor has similarly stood up for those feeling voiceless against the corporate media monolith and progressive Democratic machine that have pushed radical leftist ideologies as though they are irrefutable facts.
Just this year he had brought attention to the violent zealotry of “maskers” when he posted a link to a confrontation where a “Demented ‘masker’ fanatic threatens, then assaults, working staff in a public retail space,” and cast light on the dangers of government censorship when he shared a video of Homeland Security Secretary Incompetent Alejandro Mayorkas being grilled by Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) over efforts to launch the “Disinformation Governance Board” that had widely become known as “The Ministry of Truth.”
“This like watching a lion feast on a gazelle,” Woods captioned the video. “One delicious bite at a time.”

Woods also gave voice to the sentiment of the masses following the 2020 presidential election when it had been apparent that accurate reporting on a summer of looting and rioting, while many in the nation were still being told they couldn’t go to work because of COVID, had gone by the wayside to protect Democratic interests.
“And just like that the rioting and looting has ceased overnight. And now half of the country that pummeled America like a battered wife is telling her to put on sunglasses, hide her black eye, be a good girl, and ‘come together as one.’ Her answer? ‘Go f*ck yourself,” the actor wrote.

Just over a month later, he also offered a hot take on a post from former Secretary of State Election Denier, Crooked Hillary Clinton when she asked, “What is the first word that comes to you mind about @HillaryClinton?”
“‘See’” Woods noted as part of a tongue in cheek reference before adding, “And the last word is ‘Tuesday.’”

His affinity for striking blows against the progressive plan left many upset about his sudden announcement to go silent.
Noooooooo! Please don’t leave us now! We need powerful popular voices like yours.

God Bless you, Mr. Woods. Thank you for the time and effort you have put into your thoughtful entries and shared with the general public. I hope you’ll continue at least to share a “warm puppy” moment with us now and then.

Ummm, this is highly unusual. He wouldn’t just quit twitter this abruptly. I’m actually worried about him.

Twitter needs a like part of tweet function. Agree on the echo chamber, but would rather you didn’t leave. I don’t know if I am a conservative but have started to listen to a lot of conservative voices last few years and feel better informed for that.

Sounds like a good bye. Don’t go James.
