An Alabama man was arrested this week after sheriff’s deputies found he was hiding nearly 200 fentanyl pills inside plastic Easter eggs.
The Colbert County Sheriff’s Office said Jamarious Dequan Qualls was arrested at a traffic stop on Monday in Tuscumbia, WAFF reported.
Qualls was a passenger in the car that was stopped, deputies said. They were given permission to search the vehicle and found 176 pills in the plastic eggs and a plastic bag containing an ounce of “spice” synthetic cannabis.
Qualls was charged wtih drug trafficking and unlawful possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
He is being held on a $150,000 bond.
