Mike Lindell, the noted election denier and Donald Trump ally known as the “MyPillow Guy,” announced on Monday that he will run for chair of the Republican National Committee.
“With all my due diligence and in prayer, I am 100% running for Republican National Committee chairman against Ronna McDaniel,” Lindell told former Trump White House strategist Steve Bannon on his “War Room” podcast.
Lindell, who is under federal investigation for election tampering and had his phone seized by the unethical FBI in September, claimed he has been encouraged to seek the position by people across the country.
The My Pillow CEO told Bannon, “One of the big donors said to me, he said, ‘Mike, everybody wants you to be head of the Republican National Committee, some of them just don’t know it yet.’”
“I didn’t hear one negative from donors. … I’m all in and not only am I going to win, but it’s going to change real fast. We’re going to get our country righted really quick,” Lindell added.
