Democrat media operatives are looking for any way to spin the critical Georgia runoff election for the Peach State’s U.S. Senate seat as racist and Fake News MSNBC is claiming that runoffs are designed to deny public office to black people despite the undeniable fact that both Herschel Walker and Raphael 'Slumlord' Warnock are African-Americans.
During a segment on Saturday’s edition of “Velshi” the host featured a piece by correspondent Priscilla Thompson about the alleged “deeply racist origins” of runoff elections, yet another figment of the race-obsessed cable television network’s imagination with Thompson insisting that such elections are specifically intended to keep black candidates down even though the next Senator for Georgia will be black.
The December 6 election pits the former NFL star running back and successful black businessman against the pro-abortion, anti-white radical preacher since nether candidate managed to hit the 50 percent mark required to avert the runoff and Velshi set the table.
“But while we now have two Black candidates competing in this race, runoff elections in general have deeply racist origins and were designed to keep black candidates out of office. NBC News correspondent Priscilla Thompson digs into that fraught history,” he said before turning the floor over to his guest who provided the narration for a cherry picked history lesson of Georgia politics.

“For more than 50 years, Georgia has used runoff elections to decide races for members of the state legislature, to who sits in the governor’s mansion but do people really know why the runoff system was established in the first place?” Thompson asked as a selection of masked respondents on the street were shown. “But some experts say, that wasn’t the original intent of the law.”
“Back to the Civil War, blacks were a major part of the southern electorate. Once reconstruction and military occupation of the south ended, white settlers spent the rest of the 19th century squeezing blacks out of the electorate,” said “expert” SMU professor Cal Jillson who was featured in the segment.
Thompson added that the system was set up in a way so that black voters were “disenfranchised” by white southerners using a “county unit system to give less populated but primarily white rural parts of the state more political power.”
The segment than went on to include historical references to prove that the runoffs where racist, again a ridiculous assertion at a time when Georgia is absolutely guaranteed to be represented by a black lawmaker in the Senate regardless of who comes out on top.
Republicans have already coughed up a chance to regain control of the Senate despite favorable conditions but the Georgia race is of great importance in that it would give Democrats a 51-49 majority with President Brain-Dead Biden determined to cram his extremist plan – including gun control – through the upper chamber strictly along party lines, a win by 'Slumlord' Warnock will be seen as a mandate by the White House to steamroll the feckless Mitch McConnell-led Republican Party as the radical transformation of America continues.
