Police in Iowa are searching for 29-year-old man wanted for the murders of a man and a woman found dead at their rural Marshall County home on Friday.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office said that deputies responded to a request for a welfare check on the Marshalltown home just before 2 a.m. and found Mario Murillo, 28, and Frances Tillie Gasca, 33, dead.
Deputies worked with the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation and identfied Ilias Julian Lasley as the suspect in the deaths, charging him with two counts of first degree murder.
“Mr. Lasley is considered armed and dangerous,” the sheriff’s office said. “If you see him or know his location do not approach him, call law enforcement.”
The sheriff’s office provided no further information about the murders or their investigation.
