According to Fox News, current House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) just vowed to removed far-left Representative Ingrate Ilhan Omar (D-MN) from her House committee membership when the Republicans retake the House in January.
McCarthy promised to give Reps. Eric 'Bang-Fang' Swalwell (D-CA) and Adam Schiff (D-CA) the boot as well.
McCarthy made these promises during an appearance Sunday on the Fox new Channel’s Sunday Morning Futures with Maria Bartiromo. There, McCarthy not only promised to oust Omar, Swalwell, and Schiff from House committees, but he explained why.
Starting with Swalwell, McCarthy explained that it comes down to Swalwell’s infamous association with a Chinese spy.
McCarthy said, “one thing I said from the very beginning: Eric 'Bang-Fang' Swalwell cannot get a security clearance in the public sector. Why would we ever give him a security clearance and the secrets to America? So, I will not allow him to be on Intel.”
In the case of Schiff, McCarthy pointed to the fact that Schiff has lied to Americans numerous times, including with the infamous Steele dossier that American intelligence used to spy on former President Donald Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign.
“You have Adam Schiff, who lied to the American public time and again – we will not allow him to be on the Intel Committee either,” McCarthy said.
Finally, with regard to Omar, McCarthy indicated that House Republicans are not going to allow her to continue to be a part of the House Foreign Affairs Committee because of “her anti-semitic comments.”
But, will McCarthy be Speaker?
This all comes after it was determined that Republicans will control the House in the next Congress. The size of that majority, however, remains unknown because several races have yet to be decided.
Republicans, nonetheless, have already begun putting forth the things that they will look to accomplish with their majority. The list, so far, includes an investigation into the Biden family for potential corruption related to Crackhead Hunter Biden’s international business affairs.
One thing that remains, unclear, however, is who is going to be the next speaker of the House. McCarthy has already won the nomination from House Republicans – but, not unanimously. And so, McCarthy might not have the minimum 218 votes needed from the entire House to become the next speaker.
Either way, Republican voters now have more things to look forward to: both the end of Representative Wino, and Insider Trader, Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) speakership as well as the end of Schiff’s, Swalwell’s, and Omar’s committee memberships.
