Former President Donald Trump, the 2024 presumptive Republican nominee, campaigned in Michigan and Wisconsin on Tuesday, and his never-quit spirit was on full display.
Wisconsin was one of the four states that held their presidential primaries on Tuesday, along with New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Trump flew from sunny Florida, and first traveled to Grand Rapids, Michigan to speak at a campaign event there Tuesday afternoon. He then arrived in Wisconsin amid a brutal, blinding snow storm. But that didn’t stop him from keeping his commitment to the people of Wisconsin for an event that evening in Green Bay.
Dan Scavino, Trump’s longtime aide, posted a video of the plane Tuesday afternoon and wrote, “Trump Force One is wheels down at Green Bay Austin Straubel International Airport, in the Great State of Wisconsin…”

Trump Deputy Communications Director Margo Martin posted a video of the motorcade leaving the airport to head into Green Bay for the event. The line of cars seem to disappear into the blowing snow.

After Trump had arrived, the National Weather Service announced, “Snow has really picked up here at the office SW of Green Bay, near Austin Straubel International Airport. Roads are becoming snow covered and slippery. If you are traveling use caution, slow down, and allow extra time to reach you destination.”

By the time Trump and his team returned to the airport for departure three hours later, the weather was even worse, as more snow had accumulated on the ground and the visibility was extremely poor.
Scavino posted a video as Trump’s motorcade was returning to the plane, added background music, and captioned it, “MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

GOP Political Strategist Chris LaCivita, apparently also in the motorcade, shared another video. Trump’s plane is seen sitting on the snow-packed tarmac, hardly visible amid the snowstorm.
“Well this is going to be fun ….” LaCivita wrote.
Buzz Patterson, a retired U.S. Air Force pilot, quipped, “You guys will be fine. If you need a pilot, I know one..”

Trump advisor Jason Miller then added about an hour later, “Don’t want to bury the lead here – we took off without a hitch thanks to an AMAZING ground crew in Green Bay and a FANTASTIC pilot on Trump Force One! .”

Trump wasn’t the only one to brave the weather… a massive crowd of Wisconsin residents did as well.
Prominent X user Billy Rhodes wrote Tuesday evening, “Hearing 3000-5000 people will be attending Trumps rally in Green Bay Wisconsin tonight, in the middle of a snow storm.”

Another social media user shared a video of the long line of people ahead of the event and wrote, “It absolutely blew my mind the amount of people who waited for hours in the rain, sleet, & snow to attend the Trump rally today in Green Bay, WI. 35° weather, 30 mph wind. Wet cold & miserable, yet people kept pouring in. Trump will win.”

Roger Roth, a conservative candidate running for Congress in Wisconsin, wrote, “The rain and snow can’t stop Wisconsin from turning out to welcome President Trump to Green Bay! I spoke with and shook the hands of countless voters ready to take back our country this November. Northeast Wisconsin is ready to elect Donald Trump President! #WI08.”
