A 30-year-old Texas woman is behind bars after she turned herself in to Grand Prairie Police and said she’d shot a woman in Dallas.
Police informed their Dallas counterparts, who went to the home of 80-year-old Betty Hearn and found her dead from a gunshot wound, KXAS reported.
Grand Prairie police arrested Kelsie Miles on a murder charge and transported her to Dallas, where she’s being held on a $750,000 bond.
Police said the shooting happed shortly after 5 a.m. on Sunday but provided no other information. Dallas Police said the two women knew one another but didn’t describe their relationship or what led to the shooting, KTVT said.
