Ever since Hamas attacked Israel on October 7, 2023, we have seen far too many protests supporting Palestine in this country.
Sadly, this has not only saturated Congress, but it is now running out of control on college campuses to the point that Jewish students fear for their lives.
The Biden administration recently condemned some of the actions taken during these protests, which is likely to hurt Biden in the general election with the far left in the party.
Despicable
While we have seen these anti-Israel, pro-Palestine protests around the country, the school getting the most headlines as of late is Columbia University.
Students from other schools have been going to Columbia to protest, which included the daughter of Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN), who had been arrested for her part in one of the protests.
These protests have terrorized Jewish students at the school, with “blatantly antisemitic” rhetoric being spewed at them on a daily basis.
It has now gotten to the point that many of these students are choosing remote learning rather than the very expensive in-classroom learning their parents are paying for.
White House deputy press secretary Andrew Bates addressed the protests, stating, “While every American has the right to peaceful protest, calls for violence and physical intimidation targeting Jewish students and the Jewish community are blatantly Antisemitic, unconscionable, and dangerous – they have absolutely no place on any college campus, or anywhere in the United States of America.
“And echoing the rhetoric of terrorist organizations, especially in the wake of the worst massacre committed against the Jewish people since the Holocaust, is despicable. We condemn these statements in the strongest terms.”
You guys all know my stance on this… if you support Palestine, you are in essence supporting Hamas because Palestine leadership turned over Gaza for Hamas to rule.
That, in my opinion, makes Palestine a terror state, and anyone supporting Palestine is, therefore, supporting terrorism.
There is simply no place in this country for that rhetoric to be tolerated.
