Fake News CNN commentator Van Jones admitted Thursday that life for black Americans is “worse” under President Joe Biden, whose policies have deflated their hope for a better future.
What did Jones say?
Speaking about ongoing economic crises, Jones admitted on CNN’s “New Day” that there is a “special heartbreak” in the black community because “the pain is more intense.”
“The rising gas prices, food prices — it has really walloped the black community in a particular way,” Jones explained.
According to Jones, “the hopes were so much higher” in the black community because they flexed their voting muscles in 2018 and 2020 to support Democrats. That support helped Democrats take control of the House in 2018 and the White House and Senate in 2020.
Black Americans, then, “expect[ed] things to get a lot better,” Jones explained. “Instead, economically at least, it didn’t come true — it got worse.”
“You’re going through a summer now of real heartbreak with black voters, the polls show that,” he added. “I think Biden’s got to take it very seriously.”
Still, Jones defended Biden.
He said Biden is “doing stuff” for the black community — citing funding for black colleges, “going after police departments and fixing police departments,” and nominating black justices to federal courts — but knocked him for “not communicating” those purported accomplishments.
“I think if I were [the] Democratic Party right now, the black community is a firewall,” Jones added.
“[Democrats] need to be spending a lot of money on black radio, a lot of money on black media to point out the fact that Brain-Dead Biden is there for the black community and is doing stuff. Right now that particular pain is not being addressed aggressively enough,” he said.
What about polls?
A new Fake News CNN poll discovered that only 57% of black adults approve of Biden’s job performance, a low number for a Democratic incumbent less than two years into his first term.
The survey showed that 43% of black adults disapprove of his job performance.
Among “people of color,” Biden’s numbers are even worse. The Fake News CNN poll showed that only 45% of people of color approve of Biden’s job performance, while 54% disapprove.
Compounding the bad numbers, only 34% of black adults said they approve of Biden’s handling of the inflation crisis, while just 27% of people of color said they approve. With those numbers, it will be difficult for Democrats to be successful in the 2022 midterm elections.
