Russian President Vladimir Putin told his nation’s citizens on Saturday that the gunman responsible for slaughtering 115 people at a Moscow concert were heading for Ukraine following the attack.
“All four direct perpetrators of the terrorist attack, all those who shot and killed people, were found and detained,” Putin announced. “They tried to hide and moved towards Ukraine, where, according to preliminary data, a window was prepared for them from the Ukrainian side to cross the state border.”

“A total of 11 people were detained,” Putin continued. “The Federal Security Service of Russia and other law enforcement agencies are working to identify and uncover the entire terrorist support base: those who provided them with transport, planned escape routes from the crime scene, prepared caches, caches of weapons and ammunition…”
“It is already obvious that we are faced not just with a carefully and cynically planned terrorist attack, but with the organized mass murder of peaceful defenseless people,” he stated. “The criminals were cold-blooded and purposefully going to kill, shoot our citizens at point-blank range – our children.”
The claims came despite the terrorist group ISIS taking responsibility for the Friday terror attack.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy took to social media to condemn Putin’s allegations.
“What happened in Moscow yesterday is obvious, and Putin and other scums are trying to shift the blame to someone else,” he wrote on X. “Their methods are always the same. We have seen it all before. There were blown-up houses, mass shootings, and explosions. And they always blame others.”
“All of this happened yesterday, and instead of taking care of his Russian citizens and addressing them, this duffer Putin remained silent for a day, thinking about how to link this to Ukraine,” Zelenskyy continued. “Everything is entirely predictable. Those hundreds of thousands of Russians who are now killing on Ukrainian soil would certainly be enough to deter any terrorists.
“And if Russians are willing to die quietly in ‘crocuses’ and not question their special services, Putin will try to exploit more of these situations for personal power. Terrorists must always lose.”

“You squawk about Putin and his cries that it’s always someone else you need to take a good hard long look at yourself,” another stated before dropping a list of truth bombs. “You are no honorable man.”
