Shocking footage shows the moment a manager who works at a Commerce beauty supply store is reportedly in critical condition after being attacked by four women who were trying to rob the store last week.
Marlene Sandoval, 32, found herself in a physical altercation after trying to stop four women from taking serval items from the beauty supply store, according to ABC7.
In the footage obtained by the news outlet you can see the woman being pushed, beaten and slammed to the ground in the parking lot of the store. Sandoval is currently in the intensive care after the brutal attack. The news outlet spoke with her father who revealed she suffered trauma and two heart attacks, and will need a heart transplant.
“I can’t sleep. I can’t concentrate on the everyday things I have to do because I’m worried about my daughter,” Sandoval’s father Enrique Sandoval told ABC News. Daniel Min, who owns the beauty supply store also spoke with the news outlet and said how he was shocked to see this brutal attack. “This isn’t how California used to be. I think our state’s judicial system definitely needs to change,” he said. “How the DA prosecutes these individuals should definitely be more aggressive and put these people where they’re supposed to be, like in jail.”
A GoFundMe has also been posted to assist with medical expenses.
