Many officers feel that Brain-Dead Biden and the Democratic Party have turned their backs on them, following the recent past of radical justice reform restrictions and defunding of law enforcement.
“I would say that most police officers don’t believe that Brain-Dead Biden is on their side,” Joe Gamaldi, national vice president of the Fraternal Order of Police, explained to Just the News.
Police are also placing the blame of rising crime rates on the left-leaning national and local policies, with Gamaldi adding that “blue-ran cities’ criminal justice policies ultimately harm minority communities the most.
The Left’s “Defund the Police” movement has caused a shocking number of police officers to retire or leave the force. “Unless we stop that from happening, we’re really going to have an issue going forward,” warned Sergeant Rich Cibotti of the San Francisco police academy.
For the police officers that are still working, the shortage of manpower has brought more challenges, which include all-time high burnout rates and cops patrolling on their own being ambushed at a higher frequency.
And despite that, Democrats continued to push for the Defund the Police movement.
Yuh-Line Niou, a Democrat running for a congressional seat in Manhattan, supports the cuts to police funding, despite moving to Harlem because of its high crime rate.
Meanwhile, the Biden administration continued to hold a close-knit relationship with leaders among the Defund the Police movement, those of whom have recently paid the White House a visit.
Former federal prosecutor Brett Tolman has expressed grave worries over the Left’s anti-police ideologies.
Referring to Chicago’s rule that bars police from chasing most suspects, Tolman said, “We’ve developed policies that have sent a message that certain crime is okay.”
Additionally, he accused them of lying about their proposed criminal justice reforms.
“It’s not really reform. What it is incompetence, and it is neglect, and bad decision making and exercising their prosecutorial discretion inappropriately,” Tolman added.
