Despite the left’s insistence that the right’s focus on illegal migration is rooted in racism, the fact remains that some of the staunchest opponents of illegal migration are themselves brown-skinned immigrants.
Take Pakistani immigrant Muhammad Hassan, who showed up on Fox News’ “America’s Newsroom” this week to express outrage over how easy it’s become to illegally invade the U.S. versus coming here legally.
Listen:
It turns out Hassan has been diligently trying for four long years to import his wife into the U.S., despite him having struggled for nearly 20 years to finally earn his own citizenship.
“Every time the government has asked for a piece of paper, we provided it, in a week or less,” he said. “And, every time the response has been nothing but silence. All of those channels that are supposed to be available to law-abiding Americans have been exhausted. So here I am.”
He went on to describe the toll this ridiculous legal immigration process has taken on him and his wife, who have been unable to start a family.
“It’s not just kids, right? It’s memories we’re not making,” he said. “It’s vacations we’re not taking. It’s a life that we’re not getting to live together… It’s thousands of dollars in tickets, and I’m having to run two households. It’s not cheap, and I get no sympathy when I write to my congressman or my senator or to anybody in a position of power.”
When asked who he’d written to, he specified Rep. Jim McGovern, a Massachusetts Democrat. It’s not clear why he reached out to a Democrat versus a Republican.
“It not only hurts the people who make that choice to come here illegally, it hurts the rest of the country. It’s a breakdown in our law and order based society that immigrants have come to value,” Hassan concluded.
Of course, not every legal immigrant is brown-skinned. Some are white.

Take German immigrant Sabine Durden-Coulter, who said on Fox News this Tuesday that, despite immigrating legally in 1989, it took seven long years for her to earn citizenship.
“I’m very angry, I’m upset, I’m saddened, I’m disappointed how this can happen in America,” she said of the ongoing illegal migration crisis besetting the nation.
“I was married to an American soldier and had to fill out tons of paperwork, paid lots of money, spent many, many hours to fill out paperwork to come with him,” she added.
Durden-Coulter knows the costs of illegal migration firsthand because she lost her son during a 2012 motorcycle accident in California that was caused by a criminal illegal alien.
“The Guatemalan migrant, who had a long rap sheet including armed robbery and two DUIs, was [finally] deported in 2014,” Fox News notes.
“I came the right way, and all I have left of my family is my son Dominic, his ashes,” Durden-Coulter said. “People need to start speaking out, speaking up, because this is now affecting everybody, everywhere in the United States. I don’t care where you live, and it has to stop. And our government has really got to get it together.
“I don’t want to hear from another angel family. I don’t want to hear another angel mom crying while telling me her story,” she added.
One of the most famous legal immigrants against illegal migration is billionaire Elon Musk, who’s white but was born in South Africa.
Right now @elonmusk is the single strongest voice we have speaking against illegal immigration. Thank you Elon!
It’s frequently the legal immigrants who are the most patriotic.

But for speaking out so vociferously against illegal migration, Musk has often been smeared by the lying media as “anti-immigrant.”
In tweets posted about a week and a half ago, the billionaire owner of the social media platform X sought to debunk this lie.
“As an immigrant myself, nothing could be further from the truth,” he wrote. “I am very much in favor of increased and expedited legal immigration for anyone who is talented, hard-working and honest.”
“It is bizarrely difficult and agonizingly slow to immigrate to the USA legally, but trivial and fast to enter illegally! This obviously makes no sense,” he added.
He had a point. Under President Joe Biden’s administration, it is far easier to illegally migrate to the United States than it is to legally immigrate here the right and legal way.
