UFC fighter Renato Moicano may have been born in Brazil but after a hard-fought win in Las Vegas, he grabbed the mic from mega-podcaster Joe Rogan and went on a patriotic rant about his love for America and capitalism.
Moicano bested Jalin Turner on Saturday at the UFC 300 in the T-Mobile Arena. He took Turner down with less than a minute left in the second round. He then went on the attack and nailed Turner with a few punches to the face before the referee stopped the fight. It was his third consecutive win.
“Moicano escaped a near-disastrous first round to rebound and unleash a flurry of ground-and-pound punches that finished off Turner at the 4:11 mark in the second round,” Blaze Media reported. “Moicano improved his MMA record to 19-5-1 and UFC record to 11-5. Moicano notched his third-straight win and hasn’t lost a fight in UFC since 2022.”
He defeated Drew Dober in February and beat Brad Riddell in November 2022. Moicano lost to Rafael dos Anjos in February 2022.

After an epic comeback in Saturday’s fight, Moicano proceeded to pummel socialism and anti-American sentiment from the Left in a post-victory rant.
“I’m a huge advocate of the First Amendment, and of course, I want the $300k bonus, but they not going to give me because somebody says this is f***ing Disney, you cannot curse… so I’m not going to do my speech,” Moicano declared.
“I love America. I love the Constitution. I love the First Amendment,” he passionately told the UFC fans. “I want to carry and own f***ing guns. I love private property.”
Then the bloodied fighter gave sage advice to Americans concerning economics – a sentiment that conservatives can and should embrace.
“And let me tell you something, if you care about your own f***ing country, Ludwig von Mises and the six lessons of the Austrian economic school, motherf***ers,” Moicano urged Americans.

The UFC fighter was referring to Ludwig Von Mises who was a prominent economist at the Austrian School of Economics. He advocated for free markets and limited government when it came to economics.
“Von Mises was a proponent of free markets in the face of socialism, which was spreading across Europe during his time. He fled Nazi Germany for the U.S. in 1940 and was a professor at New York University,” Fox News noted.
“Moicano is referencing the ‘six lessons’ from Mises that emphasize the foundations of economics, the importance of the free market, the need to limit government intervention in economic matters, the dangers of socialism, the consequences of inflation, and the role of ideas in history,” Blaze Media explained.
English is the fighter’s second language. He has previously railed against government misuse of American tax dollars while citing economists Thomas Sowell and Milton Friedman.
“The government, they don’t do good decisions with your money,” Moicano remarked. “When I was a kid, I thought the government was the special people, was intelligent people, were people that deserve to be there. But at the end of the day, it’s just a popularity contest.”

“I believe in a free market society. I believe in free market enterprise. I believe in the power of the individual to create and to change their destiny,” Moicano added. “I hate taxes, and everybody hates taxes. And if you say, ‘I like taxes,’ you don’t like taxes. You just want to pretend that you are a good person.”
