1. Pro-America country rock singer speaks out after failed cancellation, endorses unity around Constitution:
Fox News – Aaron Lewis, a country rock singer and lead vocalist for Staind, spoke about his failed cancellation in an interview with Fox News Digital.
Lewis responded to controversy over his solo album, The Hill. Lewis has faced controversy in the past for his support of former President Trump, his criticism of President Biden and his endorsement of the U.S. Constitution and a “core set” of American values.
But when asked about his concerns about cancellation, a danger that Lewis said he has faced in recent years, the singer said he was not particularly worried.

Denny’s Insight: We need more American singers and rockstars to be pro-American. Maybe this will be the start of a new wave of America First singing talents.
2. Nationwide Gas Prices Top $3.50, Spiking More than 45% Under Joe Biden:
Breitbart – The nationwide average price for regular gas topped $3.54 a gallon, a spike of more than 45 percent under President Joe Biden, AAA reported Wednesday.
In the past month, gas prices rose 20 cents ($3.34), about one dollar more expensive ($2.38) than when Trump left office.
Gas prices remain high and could go higher due to industry and political factors. Biden’s economic war on American energy independence during instability in the Middle East and in Ukraine are significant factors.
Denny’s Insight: It would be nice if we could get back to prices like they were under Trump…
3. Trump edges Biden by 1 point in new national poll:
The Hill – Former President Trump edged out President Biden in a new national poll by just 1 point.
The Emerson College survey, released Thursday, found 46 percent of voters support the former president, compared to Biden’s 45 percent. Roughly 8 percent of respondents said they were undecided ahead of the November’s general election.
Trump’s razor-thin lead is within the margin of error, however, essentially making the match-up a dead heat.
When undecided voters were asked who they would lean toward between the two candidates, Trump picked up an extra point. The former president garnered 51 percent while Biden got 49 percent, according to the poll.
Denny’s Question: Should we take these polls at face value? Do you believe Trump is way ahead of Biden, or vice versa? Or is it really that neck-and-neck?
