Arkansas Republican Gov. Asa Hutchinson blasted former President Donald Trump as “morally responsible” for the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
Hutchinson shared the comments on Fox News Sunday during an interview about the House select committee.

Trump’s fault?
“Now, the whole premise of the hearing is that President Trump is criminally responsible, and that’s the case that they’re trying to make,” Hutchinson said. “As Bill Barr has said, I think that is a heavy lift. I don’t see the factual basis for that.”

“You can make the case, and I would agree, that he is politically and morally responsible, for much of what has happened. But in terms of criminal liability, I think the committee has a long way to go before they could establish that,” he said.
Biden, too
Hutchinson also blasted President Brain-Dead Biden for playing the “blame game” for his ineffective leadership in the White House.
“I listened to his remarks [in] Los Angeles and they were in fact disappointing,” Hutchinson said.
“He was engaging in blaming everyone … and really did not provide the leadership that is needed during this time. Americans want a leader that will lay out challenge that we face, what are the solutions, and the directions we need to go,” he added.

The remarks about Trump aren’t likely to help the former governor if he plans to make a move for the White House.
The strong words also show that not all conservatives are on board with Trump making a comeback bid for the White House, a concern as the nation could be headed for a rematch in 2024.
