Tesla and SpaceX CEO 'Iron Man' Elon Musk is set to hold his first meeting with Twitter staff this week amid his bid to purchase the social media company.
The virtual meeting was first reported by Business Insider and will take place on Thursday after being announced by Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal in an email to staff on June 13.
Staffers will be allowed to begin submitting questions Wednesday for Musk.
“We’ll cover topics and questions that have been raised over the past few weeks,” read a note from Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal, according to Insider.
The planned meeting will mark the first time that Musk, the world’s richest person, has addressed Twitter workers since he launched his $44 billion takeover bid of the company.
The announcement comes after Twitter said last week that it anticipated a shareholder vote on the final sale sometime in early August.
Project Veritas recently exposed Twitter’s bias with an undercover video of an employee admitting they censored conservatives, which Musk intends to correct.
Here’s what attorney Mike Ringler wrote:
“At this point, Mr. Musk believes Twitter is transparently refusing to comply with its obligations under the merger agreement, which is causing further suspicion that the company is withholding the requested data due to concern for what Mr. Musk’s own analysis of that data will uncover.”
