President Biden is being blasted on X following a statement he released on Wednesday about the death of a nonbinary Oklahoma high school student who was involved in a bathroom brawl in February.
“Jill and I are heartbroken by the recent loss of Nex Benedict,” the president said. “Every young person deserves to have the fundamental right and freedom to be who they are, and feel safe and supported at school and in their communities.”
“Nex Benedict, a kid who just wanted to be accepted, should still be here with us today,” Biden lamented.
But, as always, there’s more to the story.
A lot more.
Yes, 16-year-old Nex was attacked by three girls in the bathroom at Owasso High School.
But she reportedly started the altercation when she squirted the girls with water.
Video of Nex Benedict’s premeditation. She was the aggressor. She thought she could play the victim to justify getting violent. We’re very lucky she had benadryl and not a firearm, because premeditated aggressive violence is never a good sign. pic.twitter.com/w3bxtMTL8c

And while Nex may have been bullied at school — few teens aren’t to one degree or another — she was not beaten to death by hate-fueled students as the media, and, apparently, the president would suggest.
In fact, following the brawl, surveillance video caught her walking on her own “from the nurse’s office to the principal’s office and then leaving the school with a guardian.”

And, at the hospital, she was smiling and shook the hand of the interviewing police officer.
“Nex doesn’t appear to have any noticeable bruises,” Libs of TikTok (LoTT) noted. “The media claimed her head was smashed and dragged across the floor. Nex herself described the incident as just ‘scraps and bruises’ in her texts. Yet she says here that they beat the sh*t out her and possibly that she blacked out. Which was it?”
Police released bodycam footage of the Oklahoma teen’s de*th.
A few things to note:
1. Her mom refers to her with a different name and she/her pronouns. Either Nex wasn’t nonbinary or the school was hiding that information from her parents.

The next day, Nex was dead.
On Wednesday, more than a month after her death, the state medical examiner’s office sadly ruled her death a suicide.
According to Biden, who failed to mention that Nex was the aggressor the day before she died, “Nonbinary and transgender people are some of the bravest Americans I know.”
“But nobody should have to be brave just to be themselves,” the president continued. “In memory of Nex, we must all recommit to our work to end discrimination and address the suicide crisis impacting too many nonbinary and transgender children.”
“Bullying is hurtful and cruel, and no one should face the bullying that Nex did,” he said. “Parents and schools must take reports of bullying seriously. My prayers are with Nex’s family, friends, and all who loved them – and to all LGBTQI+ Americans for whom this tragedy feels so personal, know this: I will always have your back.”

Meanwhile, LoTT has been smeared and blamed across the mainstream media.
Here’s a compilation of media blaming me for Nex’s death and calling it a hate crime. Biden suggested today she was targeted because she was LGBTQ.
-Nex started the fight
-Nex didn’t d*e from the fight
-Nex wasn’t targeted because of her identity

Biden’s statement, LoTT said, is “unbelievable.”
“Biden took weeks to say Laken Riley’s name and when he finally did, he got it wrong,” the account fumed. “Yet he rushes to put out a statement for a high school bully who started a fight with other students and then d*ed of an overdose.”
“Nex wasn’t k*lled in a fight and wasn’t targeted because of her identity and Biden is knowingly continuing to push this lie,” LoTT stated. “Unbelievable.”

Many agreed — including some fed-up Democrats.
“I have voted nothing but Democrat for 35 years, but I’m done,” one user replied to Biden. “Using this kid’s tragic death for this agenda is DISGUSTING. Her death had NOTHING to do with her ‘nonbinary’ identity. She was a troubled kid whose father was in prison & whose mother abandoned her.”
“Half the girls in her school identify as either transgender or nonbinary,” the user continued. “It’s a status symbol and neither Nex nor anyone else was bullied for it, you garbage human being.”
“She started a fight with younger girls bc she believed they were talking about her. She threw water on them, then slammed one’s head into a towel dispenser. And it had NOTHING to do with her death the next day,” the user explained.
“You are a craven, feeble-minded old man with no connection to reality who uses the tragic suicide of a troubled child to push this transgender agenda and hurt even MORE kids.
“Shame on you.”
