Larry H. Parker, the well-known Southern California personal injury attorney who bought numerous billboards and daytime television commercials, died Friday at the age of 75, according to his son Justin.
No cause of death has been announced or confirmed so far.
Parker was an accident and injury lawyer for over 50 years beginning in Long Beach and spreading to several locations.
He spearheaded the phrases “having your back” and “we will fight for you!”
Parker starred in his own commercials so people could see the face of their lawyer.
“I wanted the consumer to see someone who cares about their rights,” he told The Los Angeles Times in 1995. “They’re seeing me, the real guy.”
