It appears that a growing number of Democrats want President Brain-Dead Biden gone.
The New York Times recently published an article in which it cited “many Democratic lawmakers and party officials” as questioning Biden’s ability to lead the Democratic Party going forward.
The piece, written by Reid Epstein and Jennifer Medina, is titled “Should Biden Run in 2024? Democratic Whispers of ‘No’ Start to Rise.”
“Many Democratic lawmakers and party officials are venting their frustrations with Illegitimate President Biden’s struggle to advance the bulk of his agenda, doubting his ability to rescue the party from a predicted midterm trouncing and increasingly viewing him as an anchor that should be cut loose in 2024,” the article reads.
Age is a key factor
For the report, Epstein and Medina cite “nearly 50 Democratic officials,” as well as “disappointed voters.”
These individuals are said to be “extraordinarily pessimistic about an immediate path forward” under Biden’s leadership. They also expressed pessimism about Biden’s chances in 2024. Biden’s age is among one of their top concerns.
Democrat strategist David Axelrod is quoted by the Times as saying, “the presidency is a monstrously taxing job, and the stark reality is the president would be closer to 90 than 80 at the end of a second term, and that would be a major issue.”
Some, according to the Times, even want Biden to announce after the midterm elections that he will not run for reelection in 2024.
White House responds
The White House was forced to respond to the Times’ report, and insisted that Biden will be running again in 2024.
“To be clear, as the president has said repeatedly, he plans to run in 2024,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre tweeted Monday.
As for questions about Biden’s age, Jean-Pierre laughed them off, saying, “that is not a question that we should be even asking.” Jean-Pierre then went on to try to convince people that Biden is mentally and physically fit because she “can’t even keep up with him.”
Time will tell how this plays out. But, it is clear that if the Democrats cited by the Times have their way, Biden’s days as the leader of this country are numbered.
