Note the healthy names of the pot businesses mentioned in this Politico article, How a Chewing Gum Heir Fell Into a Sticky Situation With Weed:
— Surterra Wellness
— The Apothecary Shoppe
— New England Treatment Access
— Molecular Infusions
— Greenwave Advisors
The pot shops are called “dispensaries.”
Yeah, a lot of health-related businesses draw investors with names like “Pot Daddy.”
Even with the enormous amounts of money sloshing around for anyone who promotes pot, the truth is out there. E.g.:
“Majority of studies have suggested a significant cognitive decline in cannabis abusers … cannabis use has a detrimental effect on prospective memory ability in young adults … Cannabis is known to produce substantial acute effects on human cognition and visuomotor skills.”
“Cannabis use has been shown to impair cognitive functions on a number of levels—from basic motor coordination to more complex executive function tasks, such as the ability to plan, organize, solve problems, make decisions, remember, and control emotions and behavior.”
“Regular cannabis use [weekly] is associated with mild cognitive difficulties, … Heavy (daily) and long-term cannabis use is related to more noticeable cognitive impairment.”
Wellness! Green! Treatment! Apothecary!
